Wolfspeed is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to oversee wafer production from inception to completion, working with engineers and stakeholders to achieve world-class cycle times.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to multitask using multiple computer screens at the same time.
Responsibilities
- Operate, and routinely qualify, equipment in various semiconductor process areas such as photolithography, etch, CVD, PVD, metrology, and others.
- Perform logistic tasks such as wafer unpacking, releasing to process, and packing.
- Maintain a presence in the Operations Command Center.
- Monitor and evaluate operating data to ensure optimized wafer movement in the fabricator.
Other
- Ability to stand for 6 hours at a time, wear full clean room attire, and lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, as well as under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Work a 12-hour night shift or day shift with a "3on-4off-4on-3off" alternating schedule.
- Technicians working 12-hour shifts are eligible to receive a shift differential of up to 15%, as well as overtime and bonus eligibility.
