Texas Instruments is seeking Manufacturing Technician Interns to join their team to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers.
Requirements
- thorough understanding of vacuum, RF, AC/DC and digital electronic theory
- ability to assemble, disassemble and reassemble complex mechanical assemblies
- Currently enrolled in a Technical Certificate or Associates program in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or related electronics field
Responsibilities
- performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- utilize diagnostic equipment and various vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions
- performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers
- monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators
- test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel
- assemble, disassemble and reassemble complex mechanical assemblies
- work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Other
- High School diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
