The company is looking to solve the problem of efficient testing and programming operations, including troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment, to guarantee daily production targets.
Requirements
- Experience with testing and programming operations
- Knowledge of heat pumps and test equipment
- Familiarity with Testbuilder 3.0
- Basic problem-solving techniques
- Experience with work instructions and sequence cards
- Knowledge of manufacturing and/or engineering principles
- Experience working with mechanical or electrical systems
Responsibilities
- First escalation point of contact for testing and programming operations: Leak Test, Final Run Test, Motor Programming, and Controller Programming
- Support proper operation and maintenance of testing and programming equipment on all assembly and support lines
- Troubleshoot failures of heat pumps and test equipment to locate root cause and provide resolution
- Report issues and findings using the FPY report. Drive improvements using basic problem-solving techniques
- Validate troubleshooting information shown by Testbuilder 3.0 after any failure occurs is accurate and update work instructions and sequence cards as needed
- Create and update work instructions to reflect current procedures in testing and validate improvement ideas with the test engineer
- Recognize deficiencies in the test process and find options for improvement together with test engineer
Other
- Must be flexible – changing work shifts (days and / or hours) as required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience working in a team environment
- Ability to communicate efficiently with end of line test associates
