Lucid Motors is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer - Battery Software to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimize downtime, and ensure smooth operation of their cutting-edge battery products. The role aims to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality by analyzing data, implementing process improvements, and supporting the development of embedded test software.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- 1+ year of experience with electronics schematics and/or wiring diagram.
- 1+ year of experience of using C and/or Python language.
- Working experience with High Voltage testing.
- Working experience with Ethernet or CAN.
- Experience in EV powertrain production testing.
- Experience with battery algorithms and Lithium-ion batteries.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues from engineering side to minimize the production downtime and ensure smooth operation.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing team, including supplier, for production cutover, software releases, tools and processes.
- Analyze manufacturing data; identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the product meets engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes to address quality issues.
- Support warranty analysis for failures and claims.
- Support embedded test software development for various manufacturing operations.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields is required.
- Master's degree or higher education is preferred.
