Lucid Motors is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer - Battery Software to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimize downtime, and ensure smooth operation of their cutting-edge battery products. The role aims to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality by analyzing data, implementing process improvements, and supporting the development of embedded test software.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • 1+ year of experience with electronics schematics and/or wiring diagram.
  • 1+ year of experience of using C and/or Python language.
  • Working experience with High Voltage testing.
  • Working experience with Ethernet or CAN.
  • Experience in EV powertrain production testing.
  • Experience with battery algorithms and Lithium-ion batteries.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues from engineering side to minimize the production downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing team, including supplier, for production cutover, software releases, tools and processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing data; identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the product meets engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes to address quality issues.
  • Support warranty analysis for failures and claims.
  • Support embedded test software development for various manufacturing operations.

  • Work in a dynamic, cross-functional team to advance our cutting-edge battery products.
  • Travel up to 25% domestic and/or internationally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields is required.
  • Master's degree or higher education is preferred.
