TA Instruments and Waters are working together to aid the advancement of materials innovation, and the Manufacturing Technician position is needed to support this effort by testing, troubleshooting, and repairing Analytical Instruments.
Requirements
- Knowledge of PC-based instrument control and data analysis
- Experience directly related to working with digital and analog circuits
- Ability to think critically and resolve issues and non-routine problems
Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair Analytical Instruments including accessories and service parts to establish specifications and test procedures
- Analyzes test data and evaluates performance of the parts/assemblies according to established specifications and test procedures. Keeps appropriate data for later analysis
- Mechanical/electrical work/rework as needed
- Prepares service parts for final shipment, including configuration and pack-up
- Other miscellaneous duties assigned by management
Other
- Must have completed an Associate's degree at an accredited post-secondary school in electronics, electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or closely related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
