Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is looking to solve the problem of designing, developing, and manufacturing sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for demanding challenges in various markets, including aerospace and defense, factory automation, and environmental monitoring.
Requirements
- Experience in electrical/electronic testing
- Familiarity with various types of test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment’s)
- RF and technical knowledge and experience is a plus
- Possess a solid understanding of ohms law and basic electronics theory
- Strong knowledge of microwave test equipment like scalar and network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, noise figure meters, and digital scopes
- Experience with mechanical assembly
- Experience testing electronic assemblies using both traditional and non-traditional tooling
Responsibilities
- Thin Film tuning, aligning, troubleshooting, and final testing of microwave components, subsystems, and integrated assemblies
- Preliminary testing, pulse focusing, assembling tubes for test, disassembling returned TWTs for replacement, and environmental testing
- Working with engineers on new product releases or to trouble-shoot a product
- Testing electronic assemblies using both traditional and non-traditional tooling such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power supply, function generator, LCD meter, power meters, etc.
- Assembling tubes for test
- Disassembling returned TWTs for replacement
- Environmental testing
Other
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a D.O.D. security clearance
- A technical associate degree or equivalent military training is required
- Detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills
- Able to provide daily updates
- Understand production schedules and shipments
