Hitachi Global Air Power is looking to implement Industry 4.0 technologies by integrating new technologies, including Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) into their production facilities and throughout operations to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Requirements
- Knowledge of current manufacturing, EHS, supply chain, quality, Lean, and transformation technologies.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Power BI, Python, R, SAP, SQL, and/or Tableau a plus.
- Ability to analyze data, multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data collected from sensors on the production floor for real-time visibility of manufacturing assets.
- Implement digital technologies to increase automation and improve production.
- Develop tools for performing predictive and prescriptive maintenance (PdM/RxM) to minimize equipment downtime and increase production rates.
- Lead cross-functional transformation projects designed to analyze and design sequence of operations and workflows for improved efficiencies.
- Evaluate and recommend transformation projects/programs providing improvements in key areas (e.g. Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost).
- Leverage lean manufacturing, six sigma, business process management/reengineering, and process improvement tools to drive transformation.
- Mobilize transformation teams and support groups to streamline processes.
