ChemPoint is looking to transform the chemical, ingredient, and industrial finished products industry by securing new business for select product lines across a wide range of markets and industry segments.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite
- Technical proficiency for select products and industry segments, with the ability to quickly learn
- Efficiently conveys ideas and concepts via multiple modes of communication, including excellent telephone skills
- Active listening skills with the ability to adjust behavior style to efficiently interact with others when addressing challenges

- Ability to identify & establish appropriate collaboration and communication points (people, teams, organizational relationships) to achieve team advantages & customer targeted solution
Responsibilities
- Execute sales campaigns by performing targeted sales calls, interacting primarily with project specifiers and technical/R&D personnel to identify, test, and refine product value propositions and share results with the Product Manager
- Achieve customer-focused solutions and work toward product line goals by defining objective, environment, resources, and plan. Foresee and mitigates risks associated to customer/supplier needs and potential solutions
- Support Product Line growth by taking sales opportunities through the full sales cycle and providing additional technical support as needed after the new business is transitioned to an Account Representative for maintenance
- Develop and demonstrate technical proficiency: working closely with customers, technical supplier contacts and Product Managers
- Build and deliver Product and Industry training; provide product/application specific training as necessary for sales representatives
- Assist sales representatives with technical sales calls to support application development and make effective product recommendations
- Assist Product Manager in campaign strategy development by helping to create and refine campaign/product collateral (internal and online)
Other
- Science or Technical degree from fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience is required; e.g. Chemistry, Biology, any Engineering discipline
- 3+ years’ sales or industry or product experience within relevant focus area
- Fully Remote or Hybrid work arrangement, with preference for candidates located in Houston, TX area
- Ability to work in a diverse workforce and culture of inclusion
- Must be eligible to work in the US
