Vanguard's market research team is looking for an experienced researcher to support internal client groups and take their value to the next level by incorporating the customer perspective into decision-making.
Requirements
- Five years related work experience, including at least two years managing primary research projects.
- Two years + of hands-on data analysis or business intelligence.
- Direct experience on brand research projects preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop an implicit understanding of your internal clients' goals and objectives, and help them make strong decisions by incorporating the customer perspective.
- Internalize the perspectives of key audiences: general public, investors, and financial media, that can be brought to bear on novel and complex questions.
- Develop and execute primary research based on business goals and learning objectives.
- Make the most of existing research when appropriate.
- Translate research findings into compelling narratives tailored to internal audiences, ensuring insights are both accessible and actionable.
- Deliver insights through presentations, reports, and storytelling techniques that resonate with internal teams and influence decision-making.
- Assist in the production and dissemination of thematic reports on key attitudes and/or behavior patterns.
Other
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience (Preferably with exposure to the social sciences such as psychology, sociology, political science, anthropology, behavioral economics, or history).
- Strong communication skills in a professional context.
- Proven ability to engage internal audiences with research findings.
- Tuesdays – Thursdays required in our offices to foster collaboration and relationships.
