The Marketing Data Analyst position is designed to support the marketing team at Community Bank by providing insights, analysis, guidance, and recommendations on marketing actions to all departments of the Bank for both internal and external stakeholders, ultimately driving business growth and improving marketing effectiveness.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)
- Working knowledge with CRM programs
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
- Possess search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen or the ability and willingness to seek out appropriate training
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
- Strong understanding of data management processes and data analysis techniques
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and activate data management processes that utilize both internal sources (Core banking systems and information, CRM, dashboards, employee surveys, etc.) and external sources (campaign tracking data, digital impressions, click-throughs, client surveys, opinion polls, etc.) to support marketing initiatives as needed.
- Extract data, interpret data, formulate reports, uncover insights, and make recommendations for internal and external campaigns, activities and strategies that support the business lines within the Bank.
- Develop Campaign Briefs in advance of major campaigns, including campaign goals and objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), target markets, insight-driven messaging and expected ROI.
- Analyze and report on the return on investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights to optimize future initiatives.
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and threats.
- Create interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Translate complex datasets into intuitive visual formats for executive presentations and departmental reviews.

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
