The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) College of Business is seeking to enhance its Marketing program by integrating data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its curriculum and research. The goal is to prepare students for a data-driven business world and advance knowledge in these emerging fields.
Requirements
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or AI-enabled marketing tools).
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Marketing Analytics, AI in Marketing, and related courses, using face-to-face, hybrid, and asynchronous online formats.
- Maintain an active research agenda that advances knowledge in data analytics, AI in marketing, meeting AACSB SA standards.
- Contribute to curriculum development by integrating emerging technologies, analytics software, and AI applications into marketing education.
- Mentor students in academic and professional development, including data-driven projects, case competitions, and applied research opportunities.
- Collaborate with faculty across disciplines (e.g., MIS, Business Analytics in the ISOM Department) to develop integrated learning experiences.
- Lead experiential learning initiatives such as live client projects, AI-driven simulations, or case competitions.
Other
- A Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a closely related field, from an AACSB-accredited institution.
- ABD candidates with a scheduled dissertation defense date prior to the employment start date will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to meet AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) qualifications and evidence of teaching effectiveness.
- Teaching, research, or industry experience in Marketing Analytics, AI in marketing, or related emerging technologies.
- Active engagement with industry partnerships, professional organizations, or applied research collaborations.
