Belardi Wong is looking for a Marketing Data Scientist to design, build, and optimize models that power audience targeting, deliverability optimization, and campaign performance insights to drive revenue, profit, and customer growth for leading DTC brands and retailers.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, A/B testing, and feature engineering.
- Experience with SQL, Spark, and cloud data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience deploying ML models in production using CI/CD, Airflow, MLflow, or Kubeflow.
- Experience in AdTech, MarTech, or Email Marketing domains.
- Familiarity with identity resolution, lookalike modeling, or probabilistic matching.
- Understanding of privacy-first modeling approaches (e.g., differential privacy, federated learning).
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for audience segmentation, user scoring, and predictive response modeling.
- Build data pipelines that transform raw behavioral, demographic, and engagement data into model-ready features.
- Partner with engineering teams to productionize models within real-time and batch processing environments (e.g., Spark, Airflow, AWS).
- Experiment with natural language processing (NLP) and content relevance algorithms to improve personalization of email subject lines and messaging.
- Analyze email deliverability, open/click rates, and conversion signals to identify patterns and optimize campaign strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, marketers, and data engineers to define data-driven solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, bias mitigation, and explainability.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in machine learning or data science roles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
