Camping World/Good Sam is seeking to improve its marketing capabilities by ensuring customer data flows are resilient, well-governed, and optimized for real-time personalization and analytics. The goal is to unlock smarter, faster, and more compliant marketing operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Segment CDP or a comparable customer data platform. Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing event and identity pipelines.
- Proficient in leveraging Snowflake or equivalent data warehouses to transform, enrich, and activate customer data for marketing use cases.
- Experience working with APIs, JSON, and SQL to create, map, and transform data across platforms.
- Proven ability to debug and resolve data and pipeline issues, particularly around customer identity, trait mapping, and event delivery.
- Experience with consent and privacy platforms (example: Securiti.ai, OneTrust) and how they intersect with marketing pipelines.
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and event streaming models.
- Relevant certifications such as Segment Certified Implementor, Segment Certified Marketer, or SnowPro Core Certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Implement and optimize Segment CDP pipelines, including source instrumentation, event tracking, identity resolution, data enrichment, and destination delivery.
- Build and maintain marketing data workflows that bridge data sources, Segment, and marketing/analytics destinations.
- Create data reporting for business stakeholders in dashboards and standardized methods to be used for ongoing optimization and analysis.
- Develop rigorous testing plans for event pipelines, identities, and audiences, ensuring every data flow is validated and traceable.
- Automate QA and anomaly detection routines to flag latency, drop-offs, or schema mismatches across critical pipelines.
- Enable seamless connectivity between Segment, Snowflake, web properties and marketing/analytics platforms using APIs, rETL, serverless functions, and cloud-native connectors.
- Maintain data transformation schemas and identity stitching logic to support real-time personalization and analytics use cases.
