The business problem is to ensure the accuracy and consistency of material master data within the SAP system, supporting efficient product launches and operations across all business units. This involves managing material creation, updates, and data quality rules, as well as resolving related issues and participating in audits.
Requirements
- ERP SAP experience in MM module
- 5 years of SAP Experience on Material Master
- Intermediate+ Excel skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Material creation and updates in SAP for all Business Units, coordinating with business for product launch (special programs) where the priority is higher than normal
- SME involved for new tools assessment / implementation
- Ensures harmonization on material number (avoid duplicate materials in the system)
- Document Data Quality rules and ensure they are applied on the material master creation
- Define and oversee workflow for material approvals, provide updates to requestors about request statuses
- Responsible for performing mass maintenance per business request and resolve tickets for SAP errors related to material master
- Champion for process improvement for the material master perspective, coordinate with functional areas and IT
Other
- Trains new users on how material request must be filled and how to look for reference materials in the system
- Participate in Quality Audits, gather documentation and evidence as needed
- Coordinate External resources to provide support as required
- Desire to work in a fast paced environment
