Material Qualification Data Scientist Intern to contribute to cutting-edge materials research and qualification processes
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, R, and Python
- Understanding of project sprint methodologies
Responsibilities
- analyze unstructured problems, identify root causes and align team objectives to drive material implementations
- capture and translate strategic/business requirements into technical solutions
- develop in-house tool(s) that can be deployed at enterprise-scale for maximum value capture
- work with line management to enable decisions and contribute to gaining alignment for changes outside approved scope
- scout for off-the-shelf solutions to speed Material Qualification data science efforts
- identify and/or develop data science tools that can be integrated within the material implementation process operating model
Other
- BS graduates May 2025 in computer science or data science
- Enrolled in data science, computer science, or STEM degree program (Bachelor of Science)
- Completion of second year in your field
- Bring a patient-focused, entrepreneurial mindset
