The Boeing Company is looking to solve supply chain and inventory management issues in their manufacturing operations by hiring a Materials Coordinator to ensure that all materials, equipment, and tooling are available and accounted for.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain and inventory management.
  • 2+ years of experience in performing transactions in MRP/ERP systems to close work order, query inventory, receive and inspect product using the MRP/ERP system.
  • 2+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and resolving supply chain complexities that are critical in keeping production schedules on track.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Currently possess a valid driver’s license.
  • 3+ years of experience communicating effectively and understanding the complexities of a manufacturing system.

Responsibilities

  • Review master schedules and shortage reports to identify potential issues and notify Operations and Materials Management stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Fabrication, and other departments to address parts, equipment, tooling, and production issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies and shortages to ensure a consistent flow of parts and materials.
  • Reallocate and adjust systems to ensure compliance with paperwork for unitized parts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure the availability of equipment, tooling, and materials for manufacturing needs.
  • Maintain accountability for capital asset equipment, including tracking property numbers and locations, and manage non-capital equipment.
  • Coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs for equipment and tooling.

  • High school graduate or GED preferred.

  • Must be a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, which includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions, including extreme cold, heat, rain, snow, and wind.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test as Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace.
