Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support their customers' mission-critical operations, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Proficient in Java programming with experience in developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications
- Experience writing and optimizing Regular Expressions (Regex) for data validation, text parsing, and pattern matching
- Experience with entity extraction and data normalization to standardize unstructured or semi-structured information
- Strong knowledge of corporate processing systems and corporate normalization tools
- Experience with GHOSTMACHINE and associated schema structures
- Familiarity with language processing techniques for text analysis and information extraction
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications in alignment with requirements and specifications
- Develop efficient, reusable, and secure code following industry and organizational standards
- Participate in requirements analysis and design sessions with stakeholders
- Maintain and enhance existing software, resolving defects and improving performance
- Integrate software with databases, APIs, and other systems
- Use version control tools (e.g., Git) and follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Support security compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, DoD STIGs, FedRAMP, ISO 27001)
Other
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
