Ameresco is looking for a Measurement & Verification Engineer to help customers reduce costs, enhance resilience, and decarbonize to net zero in the global energy transition by developing, constructing, and operating tailored smart energy efficiency solutions.
Requirements
- Experience performing measurement and verification or energy related reporting.
- Ability to analyze and quantify energy savings in projects involving chiller and boiler plants, motors, compressors, VSDs, HVAC retrofit, controls, and distributed generation
- Knowledge of IPMVP and FEMP standards
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Data analysis experience
- Energy Management Controls experience
- Understanding of engineering principles associated with the analysis of energy-savings measures
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of the Measurement & Verification plan for projects
- Gather all required site information including utility data, energy management system (EMS) trend data, project site logs, and field service reports
- Analyze and evaluate data to verify savings using a variety of data processing and analytics tools
- Develop, produce, and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual Measurement & Verification reports
- Schedule and perform M&V on-site inspections, report presentations, and customer training.
- Review ESPC contracts to ensure understanding and compliance of company M&V obligations.
- Coordinate M&V deliverables with subcontractors
