A leading U.S.-based industrial equipment manufacturer is seeking a Design Engineering Manager to oversee the design engineering team remotely from Lebanon. The role involves managing the design of custom automated systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.
Requirements
- Proficient in SolidWorks, with extensive knowledge of sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, and assemblies.
- Strong experience in designing automated systems or industrial machinery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of automated systems, assemblies, and mechanical components.
- Review and approve 3D models, part drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and related documentation.
- Ensure designs follow lean manufacturing and design-for-manufacturing principles.
- Implement best practices in mechanical design, SolidWorks usage, and project management.
- Guide engineers in mechanical design, SolidWorks modeling, and manufacturing documentation
Other
- This is a remote position.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university, with a high GPA.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
- Excellent leadership, team management, and project coordination skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage remote teams effectively.
