Requirements
- 8+ years of proven experience in mechanical design and analysis, particularly in the Aerospace or Defense industries.
- Strong knowledge of thermal and structural analysis techniques and tools (Ansys and Star CCM preferred).
- Experience with product development processes and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools relevant to mechanical design (NX, Teamcenter preferred).
- Proven track record of leading high performing teams in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and automation/AI.
Responsibilities
- Manage the team of thermal and structural analysts for various mechanical systems, including valves, actuators, and pneumatic components.
- Oversee the design and development of Control System Products.
- Develop and implement analysis validation and verification plans to ensure product specifications are met.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in design practices and analysis methodologies.
- Manage team workload and capabilities to support business demand needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and analysis techniques utilizing automation and AI.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage project deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
