Bollinger is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist the Engineering department by conducting research and preparing technical documentation, performing general office tasks with high attention to detail, including organizing reports and maintaining engineering records, developing and reviewing system diagrams, conducting basic engineering calculations, and collaborating effectively with engineers, designers, and other personnel to support various projects.
Requirements
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineering department by conducting research and preparing technical documentation.
- Perform general office tasks with high attention to detail, including organizing reports and maintaining engineering records.
- Develop and review system diagrams to ensure compliance with vessel specifications and regulatory standards.
- Conduct basic engineering calculations for system performance and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other personnel to support various projects.
Other
- Currently a junior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
