Lockheed Martin is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to resolve difficult production and design issues, assist production development teams, and support hardware operations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as PTC Creo, 3DX/CATIA, Solidworks, MATLAB, etc.
- Hands-on experience with machining, rapid prototyping, or lab equipment (CNC, 3-D printers, test rigs)
- Exposure to GD&T, sketching, technical drawing standards, or similar hands-on hardware support
- Basic FEA/CFD exposure (ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL) or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with MATLAB
- Basic understanding of industry standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
