CSX is looking to solve business and technical problems through its Summer Internship Program, specifically in supporting the CSX Network and providing reliable mechanical equipment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently manage assignments
- Ability to communicate effectively and build working relationships at all levels of an organization
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple departments (Locomotive Management, Mechanical Car/Locomotive and Transportation) to support the CSX Network while also providing reliable mechanical equipment.
- Assist with monitoring and reporting locomotive utilization across the CSX Network.
- Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Other
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Logistics or a related major field of study from an accredited institution.
- Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4-point scale)
- Up to 5% travel
- Work hours may vary in length and schedule (may include a non-standard workweek)
