Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is looking for mission-driven candidates to advance oncology treatments and improve outcomes for cancer patients by performing medical assistant related procedures for patients enrolled in clinical trials.
Requirements
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements for safe handling of blood and body fluids
- Skill in venipuncture and blood processing
- Skill in computer applications
- Skill in gathering and reporting information
- Medical Clinic or Clinical laboratory and phlebotomy or equivalent experience
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities
- You will access, flush and de-access ports.
- You will perform peripheral and port lab draws.
- You will prepare patient for examination.
- You will assist physicians with procedures as needed.
- You will prepare and stock exam rooms.
- You will obtain vital signs and EKGs from pharmacokinetics (PK) patients.
- You will perform buccal swabs on pharmacokinetics (PK) patients as needed.

- Medical Assistant training is preferred
