AbbVie is looking to solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow in key therapeutic areas such as immunology, oncology, neuroscience, and eye care, and is seeking a Medical Device Software Engineer Intern to support the development and implementation of changes to commercial body contouring medical device products
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a bachelor's in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related field of study
- Microsoft Excel or other database experience is a plus
- Exposure to coding, data mining, and analysis
- Familiar with Visual Studio and Git
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities associated with the development and implementation of changes to commercial body contouring medical device products
- Helping to consolidate, design, and recommend solutions
- Supporting development of engineering and unit tests
- Learning standards and tools for software development engineers
Other
- Must be returning to university the semester following internship
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
- Currently enrolled in university
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study
- Cross functional collaboration skill
