The Miami-Dade County Medical Department is seeking a highly motivated ME IT Senior Software Developer to lead and manage the Computer Services Bureau and maintain existing high-quality software applications to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Requirements
- Programming experience with Jason and Angular languages in environments such as Visual Studio, Code, and DEV OPS are preferred.
- Experience with software development and systems analysis.
- Experience with PowerBI and Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience with X-Ray systems, Active Directory Management, and Backup Systems.
- Experience with Apple IOS Application development.
- Experience with LIMS – Laboratory Information Management System.
- Experience with Case Management application development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain existing high-quality software applications to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems such as X-Ray systems, Active Directory Management, and Backup Systems.
- Develop technical requirements and participate in the procurement process to advertise and award capital and non-capital funded projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and shape new features, utilizing software such as PowerBI and Artificial Intelligence.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical mentorship to the ME Software Developers.
- Participate in architectural discussions and help drive technical decisions.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Other
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five years of experience in software development and systems analysis are required.
- Supervisor experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Familiar with government compliance
