MEMX is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining internal and external facing web applications to support their core trading system and serve their customers and business.
Requirements
- Proficient in HTML5, ES6, CSS
- Experienced in REST APIs, NodeJS, React, Angular, or an equivalent web framework, git
- 8 or more years of web development experience
- Experience with financial markets, distributed systems and/or high-performance web applications is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work on MEMX’s main product, the user portal to our trading platform, creating improvements and building products for internal and external users
- Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand the complexities of our markets
- Work with a team of experienced, high-performance developers and leaders to design best-in-class systems
- Develop and maintain innovative products that deliver exceptional features and service to our customers and our internal teams
Other
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a comparable discipline
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills including exceptional customer service, creative problem solving, and effective written and verbal communications
- Broad systems thinking - ability to understand the connections and relationships across functions and entities for both internal and external constituencies
