Chronosphere is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to build developer tooling that enables developer velocity and reliability for the entire engineering organization, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring best practices in a high-scale, distributed cloud environment.
Requirements
- Experience in building high-scale and distributed cloud systems.
- A breadth of experience with context across the stack from the Cloud Provider and Kubernetes level down to the application container level.
- Excellent skills in an object-oriented programming language such as Go, Java, Python, or C++.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain an array of developer tooling that enhances developer productivity and reliability within a high-scale, distributed cloud environment.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software development lifecycle bottlenecks and advocate for best practices in development processes.
- Architect our infrastructure systems to ensure reliability in the face of our high scale of traffic.
- Build on top of our infrastructure stack using Go, Terraform, Kubernetes, GCP, and AWS.
- Consult with engineers across the engineering organization as they build their systems to ensure infrastructure best practices.
