Microsoft AI is looking to build the next wave of capabilities for their personalized AI assistant, Copilot, by enhancing its core experience on iOS and Android platforms.
Requirements
- 6 years technical engineering experience developing mobile applications for iOS or Android platforms with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java
- Working knowledge of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX principles.
- 3 years of people management experience, leading high-performing mobile engineering teams.
- Experience in consumer mobile engineering, mobile platform, or growth mobile oriented role.
- 5 years' experience managing mobile teams.
- Experience building iOS or Android applications from scratch.
- Passion for learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile development and AI.
Responsibilities
- Build consumer grade applications for iOS or Android.
- Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers focused on growth-related projects.
- Work collaboratively with our Designers, Product Managers, and AI Researchers to take ambiguous projects and mold them into amazing experiences.
- Find a path to get things done despite roadblocks to get your work into the hands of users quickly and iteratively.
- Ensure the product continually evolves based on user feedback and market trends, driving features that improve user satisfaction and retention.
- Own the technical roadmap for the mobile engineering team, balancing short-term delivery with long-term technical investments that enable scaling and efficiency.
