The Boeing Company is looking for a Metrology & Test Equipment Services Lab Manager to manage Metrology Labs supporting Northwest Flight Test and Primary Force/Load capabilities, as well as Flight Test Stores operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and test equipment (M&TE) used in manufacturing, research, and testing, which directly impacts product quality and safety.
Requirements

- Quality and/or Lab Management experience
Responsibilities
- Provide lab oversight and approval of technical approaches
- Respond to production and customer related issues
- Lead initiatives to influence cross-functional improvements
- Actively manage lab operations using established Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery metrics
- Conduct routine assessment of operational area compliance with command media
Other
- Lead a team of metrology engineers, technicians, and test asset management focal(s) as a part of Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES)
- Establish rapport with, and serve as primary point of contact for key business partners
- Collaborate with peers across the enterprise, and the MATES leadership team
- Responsible for coaching, counseling, mentoring and providing developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities
