Lead all aspects of the software development lifecycle to ensure quality engineering and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hands-on quality engineering manager or team lead
- Skilled in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing quality engineering strategies to ensure product excellence
- Experience supporting new product development and launches
- ISTQB or CQE certifications preferred
- 8+ years in quality engineering, including 3+ years in Agile environments
Responsibilities
- Mentor and support the quality engineering team to foster professional growth and ensure adherence to corporate performance standards
- Guide technical and architectural decisions, establishing development standards and maintaining code quality aligned with best practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with product teams to address quality issues, gather feedback, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Balance hands-on development with managerial duties, ensuring up-to-date documentation and adherence to agile methodologies
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across quality engineering processes
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
- Location – Atlanta GA (Hybrid – 3 days a week in office)
