Crowe is looking to implement transformative, high-value Dynamics 365 ERP solutions for their clients, requiring a technical architect to lead the design and delivery of these complex projects, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
Hands on knowledge of D365 F&O extensibility (X++ review competence, extension patterns, data entities, DMF), environment strategy, and LCS.
Proven architecture experience across Power Platform (model‑driven/canvas apps, Power Automate flows, governance/ALM) and Azure integrationservices (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus/Event Grid).
Strong integration track record (OData/REST, webhooks/events, batch/ETL via ADF/Fabric, message‑based patterns).
Demonstrated ownership of non‑functional design (security, performance, resiliency, observability) with measurable SLOs and test strategies.
Production experience with ALM (solutions, pipelines, Git, unit/automated UI tests).
Familiarity with Copilot Studio (plugins, orchestration, connectors) and RAG patterns.
Responsibilities
Own the target architecture for D365 F&O and integrated applications across Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault).
Select and apply the right integration patterns (Dual‑write/Dataverse, OData, DMF, File/Batch, Event‑driven, API‑first) and design secure, versioned APIs.
Design data & analytics strategies (BYOD/Export to Data Lake, ADLS, Fabric/Synapse‑ready models, Power BI semantic models) to enable reporting, automation, and AI.
Embed non‑functional requirements (performance, reliability, security, compliance, operability, cost) with clear SLOs and testable acceptance criteria.
Serve as the primary client‑facing technical lead from discovery through go‑live and hypercare; guide backlog, scope, estimates, and technical risk mitigation.
Lay the foundation for delivery by setting up environments, integration patterns, security, and DevOps pipelines that enable teams to deliver features quickly and safely
Build ERP and integration solutions that surface the right data in the right way, enabling Copilot, reporting, and advanced analytics.
Other
8+ years designing and delivering enterprise solutions on Microsoft platforms; 5+ years with D365 F&O/AX and/or CE (at least 2–3 full cycle implementations in an architect or lead role).
Excellent client communication (executive ready storytelling, clear tradeoff articulation) and consulting acumen (scope, estimates, risk/issue mgmt).
People management experience: team leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and resource planning
We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
