ProSidian is seeking a Microsoft Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Developer and Training Specialist to support professional services engagement for Agriculture And Food Sector Clients, such as the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), by providing IT Effectiveness Solutions and overseeing farming, ranching, and forestry industries, as well as regulating aspects of food quality and safety and nutrition labeling.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel features (Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros) and advanced VBA programming for automation.
- Expertise in developing custom Excel solutions and delivering technical training.
- Proficiency in writing, debugging, and optimizing VBA code.
- Expertise in teaching advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities, including the creation and management of Microsoft Excel dashboards, automated reports, and complex workflows.
- Ability to guide users through hands-on exercises in VBA development.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Microsoft Excel Expert Certification
- Advanced VBA Certification or significant demonstrated experience with Visual Basic programming
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training on Expert Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), including complex automation tasks.
- Create VBA macros, custom Excel functions, and automated workflows.
- Lead hands-on training sessions for advanced Excel users.
- Automate processes using VBA for real-world applications.
- Conduct Expert Microsoft Excel and VBA training for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deliver corporate or government training on Microsoft Excel, with a proven ability to engage learners and customize the course content to meet specific organizational needs.
- Develop custom Excel solutions and deliver technical training.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with advanced Excel and VBA development.
- Strong communication and instructional skills.
- Ability to translate complex VBA concepts into understandable lessons for diverse learners.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize training objectives.
