BigBear.ai is seeking to build, enhance, and support backend systems and APIs
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and experience building applications with Flask
- Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS)
- Solid understanding of API development and backend architecture
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker), or orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of asynchronous frameworks or messaging systems
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Flask
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration points
- Work with AWS for application hosting, storage, and service orchestration
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Optimize application performance and resolve production issues
- Contribute to architectural discussions and propose technical improvements
