Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Database Developer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade databases supporting mission-critical applications within a classified environment for a federal agency.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases to support application and analytics workloads.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers for performance and reliability.
- Perform database administration (DBA) functions, including backup/recovery, tuning, patching, and replication.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and analysts to ensure efficient data modeling and integration across systems.
- Automate database tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts to improve deployment and monitoring processes.
- Support data migration and ETL processes between environments and systems (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with DoD and government data standards.
