Amentum is looking for a Mid-Level M&S Developer to support key programs at NSWC Crane by developing digital representations of system attributes and behaviors to predict system-of-systems performance.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience integrating digital models to predict system-of-systems performance
- 1+ years of experience working in a secure integrated data environment
- Familiar with (or similar): AFSIM, ITASE, Matlab, Python, SysML models
- Experience with radar, electronic surveillance, and radio datalinks
- Experience with missile guidance and missile countermeasures
Responsibilities
- Interpret military mission threads and extract key attributes to be modeled
- Interpret system technical documentation and extract key attributes to be modeled
- Develop digital representations of system attributes and system behaviors
- Integrate modeling elements into M&S toolsets that predict system-of-systems performance
- Generate design documentation and maintain version control
- Validate that M&S toolsets produce realistic results
Other
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering job or scientific research job
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering an ABET-accredited Engineering program with a GPA of 3.0
- Must have an Active US Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI US Government Clearance.
- US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret/ TS/SCI Clearance.
- Experience in a systems engineering job or mission engineering job
- Experience with military mission scenario modeling
- Experience testing digital models or software products
