The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer to join their Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization supporting Corporate Functions. The role involves designing and developing core ServiceNow capabilities to meet client requirements, improve enterprise Service Management solutions, and provide tool and capability recommendations based on experience and research.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in at least one ServiceNow product (ITSM, ITBM, GRC, CRM)
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, UI actions, scheduled jobs, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and a development method
  • 3+ years of experience with web hosted applications, including X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, jQuery or Angular and one or more of the following back-end technologies: JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion integrations
  • Experience designing and implementing IT and Non-IT related process workflows, procedures and technical standards
  • Experience in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise Service Management solutions in ServiceNow
  • Develop efforts will include (but are not limited to) custom portal pages, modules, API and software integrations, customized web pages, User interface policies, scripts, etc.
  • Participate in administration of ServiceNow to include upgrades, updates, etc.
  • Maintain technical expertise relevant industry standards and best practices in ServiceNow
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Develop creative technical solutions to complex problems
  • Apply technical expertise and knowledge of other related disciplines

Other

  • Follow industry standards, the successful candidate will collaborate with the existing internal ServiceNow team (and customers) on activities and development projects
  • Work is performed based on documented Project Implementation Plans
  • Exercise judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Current Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications
