SEG, an Astrion company, is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to ensure software quality through comprehensive automated testing and contribute to the reliability and growth of their product.
Requirements
- Test Automation Frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Programming Languages: Python (required), JavaScript, Java
- Testing Frameworks: PyTest, Jest, TestNG, Robot Framework
- Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js
- API Testing: REST/SOAP API testing, Postman, requests library
- CI/CD Integration: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Version Control: Git, branching strategies for test code
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites that validate UI functionality, performance, and user experience across diverse client configurations.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive automated testing solutions by actively contributing to a dynamic Agile Scrum team.
- Ensure Astrion's solutions maintain the highest standards of quality while scaling to serve a wider audience with varied needs and requirements.
- Leverage experience to rapidly adopt new testing tools and methodologies, making informed decisions to implement robust, maintainable automated test solutions.

- 3-5 years of experience in software testing with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- U.S. citizenship and a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a security clearance
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
