i3 is seeking a mid-level Software Developer to support a dynamic software integration facility by providing technical solutions and support for development, cybersecurity teams, and the broader user base, with a focus on Jira and OpenShift.
Requirements
- Expertise in Jira
- Experience working with OpenShift
- Experience with containerizing applications using Docker
- Experience managing deployments with Kubernetes
- Strong experience with python, satellite, ansible is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, customize and support software applications and integration solutions within a DevSecOps environment.
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software components across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Develop and support custom solutions within Jira, including workflows, dashboards, fields, filters, and automation rules.
- Integrate Jira with other development and CI/CD tools and systems, including OpenShift and Git-based pipelines.
- Design and deploy applications and services on Red Hat OpenShift, including containerizing applications using Docker and managing deployments with Kubernetes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for both development and system configuration tasks.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues across Jira and OpenShift environments, including performance tuning and system debugging.
Other
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8140/8570.01-M compliance, as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, but interim secret required to start.
- Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and in a team environment.
- Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills.
