At Pathways, we are building the data layer manufacturers need to measure, reduce, and report on the footprint of their products, as building materials are responsible for 15% of global CO2 emissions and an even larger share of biodiversity loss.
Requirements
- Proficency with python is a must
- Experience with relational databases (We use Postgres) is a must
- Proficency with front-end React is a must
- Experience with FastAPI is a big plus, Flask/Django experience is sufficient as well.
- Experience with SQLAlchemy is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in full stack development, with a preference/greater experience in backend
Responsibilities
- Work roughly 50% backend and 50% frontend
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and engineers to help implement new features and improve existing functionality.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs across the stack.
- Write unit tests and contribute to automated testing efforts to support code quality and reliability.
- Assist in exploring and integrating new technologies
- Follow secure coding practices and contribute to maintaining application integrity and adherence to security guidelines.
