Requirements
- Extensive software testing experience
- Proficient in testing practices within multi-methodology environments
- Hands-on work with IBM Rational ELM suite including Rational Doors Next Generation (DNG) /Rational Requirements Composer (RRC), Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Engineering Test Management (ETM)
- Experience with software test automation experience using test automation tools including but not limited to: Selenium, QTP, HP-UFT, Rational Functional Teste
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray for JIRA, version control and collaborative software such as GitHub, and work management software such as Atlassian.
- Knowledge of current IRS tax administration software applications
- Experience with IBM Mainframe or Unisys Mainframe applications and operations
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and/or integration testing of multiple programs in an IBM mainframe or client/server environment.
- Proactively identify use cases for test automation within supported projects.
- Use test automation tools to execute test scripts that validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
- Use Government or Contractor-developed documentation to construct test cases with predetermined results and test data to verify program functionality and/or interfaces through assigned systems.
- Review output to determine whether the test results fulfill the established requirements, and if necessary, notify the responsible programmers, both verbally and in writing, of errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in the programs and/or documentation.
- Coordinate test activities with project stakeholders.
- Train other contractors or government personnel in use of automated testing tools.
Other
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA OR 12 years of relevant work experience and a HS Diploma
- Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder- must have 3 or more US residency)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI clearance
- Current active IRS MBI Clearance strongly preferred
- Experience working with the federal government
