The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Supplier Quality Specialist to ensure suppliers' systems, processes, and products comply with requirements, and to assist with supplier capability and capacity assessments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits
- 3+ years of experience with conducting Quality investigations, Root Cause analysis and implementation and verification of Corrective Actions in production environments
- 1+ years of experience with monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- 5+ years of experience in conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits
- Experience with the application of improvement methodologies such as (Lean, Theory of Constraints and/or Six Sigma) to achieve measurable results
- Experience with Aerospace industry standards: AS9100, AS9102, AS9138, AS9145, etc.
Responsibilities
- Plans and conducts audits and assessments of suppliers’ systems, processes and products.
- Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
- Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
- Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
- Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
- Resolves routine issues and concerns.

- This position is available for 1st shift.
- This a hybrid position therefore the candidates will require the ability to work from home and/or supplier locations as assigned.
- The selected candidate will be supporting suppliers in the San Diego area.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
