Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Basic industry and business knowledge
- Knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards
- Ability to conduct analyses of hedge funds and other counterparty activities
- Ability to create customized reporting
- Ability to support implementation of securities processing improvements
- Ability to review and analyze daily BAU activities
Responsibilities
- Utilize basic industry and business knowledge to conduct analyses of hedge funds and other counterparty activities
- Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management
- Support implementation of securities processing improvements
- Review and analyze daily BAU activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing
- Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards
- Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processes
- Deal with ad-hoc queries from a broad range of stakeholders on a daily basis in a professional and timely manner
Other
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 days in-office at Citi's Getzville location
- Ability to provide informal guidance or on the job training to lower level/new securities processing team members
- Ability to assess risk when business decisions are made
