Support machine learning research and development through data collection, processing, and analysis to improve gesture inference pipeline.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of programming in Python
- A basic understanding of concepts and statistics
- Knowledge of machine learning, Robotics and artificial intelligence
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection and organization of sensor data
- Support the processing and cleaning of collected sensor data
- Learn and apply basic Python skills to explore and analyze data
- Help test and characterize the performance of different gesture classification models under guidance
- Contribute to the generation of basic metrics for evaluating the performance of the gesture inference pipeline
Other
- Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
