The Siri team is looking for passionate Machine Learning Engineers to join us in developing and shipping state-of-the-art generative AI technology to advance Siri and Apple Intelligence for Apple’s customers.
Requirements
- 1 year of hands-on industry experience developing deep learning systems: training (and finetuning) models, designing model architectures, researching/experimenting with new ideas, defining and creating metrics, building datasets and performing error triages.
- Deep understanding of Generative AI techniques/literature and proven track record of training (or deploying) LLMs/MLLMs to solve complex problems
- Proficiency in Python and one of the deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch, JAX, or Tensorflow)
- Demonstrated experience with building AI agents, LLMs for tool use, and Multimodal-LLMs.
- Experience using one or more of the following: Reinforcement learning, Distillation, RLHF fine-tuning, RAG/VectorDB, LLM uncertainty quantification.
- Experience developing, shipping and improving machine learning models in a production environment or a solid publication record in top-tier conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ICRA etc.
