Google is looking to solve the problem of delivering a broad product roadmap of systems, hardware, and software critical to enabling Cloud and Google services by increasing velocity, quality, predictability, and coordination across teams through technical program management.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with key engineering leads/stakeholders, contribute to ML System Roadmap by program managing projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
  • Lead development and landing of next-gen ML Systems through New Product Introduction (NPI) Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) process from Concept to Production and Sustaining.
  • Drive a portfolio of tracks to make direct and measurable impact on customer adoption.
  • Partner with engineering leads and cross-functional teams to ensure that organization-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) are set and reflect top-level strategy as well as ensure projects are effectively prioritized, resourced, and managed.
  • Engage with executives and cross-functional leaders to strategize and drive ML Hardware (HW)/System roadmap.
  • use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.
  • work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to engage with C-level and executives, with executive-level communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving, discussion, and organizational skills.
