Major League Baseball is seeking to elevate its content creation and engagement with fans by capturing compelling on- and off-the-field baseball experiences through the Live Content Program. The goal is to lead in content innovation and connect with the next generation of baseball fans.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional quality photography and videography experience
- Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras in a sports environment
- Knowledge of social media platforms and what content works best on each
- Proficient understanding of viral content
- Familiarity with MLB and overall baseball current storylines
- Editing skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut or similar platforms is a plus
- Spanish-Language is a plus
Responsibilities
- Capturing video and photo content using personal professional cameras of on- and off-the-field baseball experiences for the league, club and player’s social needs.
- Generating content primarily for game day but may also create content for marketing promotions and sponsorship activations on social and editorial platforms.
- Producing content on a nightly basis and editing on tight deadlines.
- Attending home games/events within one’s market to capture pregame, in-game, and post-game content for both home and visiting teams, player marketing, and the league in photo/video formats.
- Following directions from the Live Content Management team based in NY to understand daily needs, storylines and prepare for special requests from social platforms, marketing and league needs.
- Abiding by MLB HR compliance policies.
- Conducting professionally on and off the field representing Major League Baseball.
