Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine analysis and laboratory testing procedures while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency with relevant laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Good computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures.
- Experience with LIMS system
- Familiarity with CAP/CLIA lab regulations
- Proficiency with analytical procedures and instruments
- Ability to learn and adapt to new laboratory techniques and procedures
Responsibilities
- Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine data analysis, identifying potential errors and escalating to senior lab personnel.
- Prepare data analysis results for upload to LIMS system under guidance of senior staff.
- Assist in quality investigations, deviations, and resolutions.
- Prepare buffers and solutions for analysis as required.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and assist with training lab personnel.
- Communicate clearly and timely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirements (computer, typing, reading small prints).
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while collaborating effectively with team members.
