The State of Nebraska, specifically the Health & Human Services Agency, is seeking a Resource Developer to work with several programs, including Medicaid Long Term Care, to enroll independent providers and assist customers with necessary services.
Requirements
- Post high school coursework/training in social work, sociology, counseling, guidance, psychology, child development or related field
- Experience working with NFOCUS, Word, Excel, and OnBase
- Ability to work with Policy regulations and guidelines concerning services delivery in programs RD contracts with including SSAD, MLTC, or AD Waiver
- Experience managing multiple cases in a fast paced environment
- Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation
Responsibilities
- enrolls independent providers to assist customers with services needed, such as transportation, respite services, chore services, and basic household tasks
- monitors provider contracts
- reviews provider billing documents
- evaluates provider services
- facilitates complaint resolution
- performs on-site audits
- provides recommendations concerning service improvement, contract revision and/or termination
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the fields listed above
- Travel is required with overnight travel on the rare occasion
- Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation
