The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract needs a Mobile Applications Developer/Integrator to develop, maintain, and integrate mobile applications and barcode scanning capabilities with enterprise systems.
Requirements
- Experience in barcode systems development and integration.
- Experience supporting mobile hardware, specifically Zebra Technologies and Motorola Solutions handheld barcode scanners.
- Experience maintaining and supporting Seagull Scientific Bartender applications and label templates.
- Experience with mobile hardware and Mobile Reach applications.
- Experience supporting mobile applications and their interfaces with BMC Remedy asset, ITSM, and property management systems.
- Experience maintaining and supporting BMC Remedy/Helix systems, with a focus on mobile integrations.
- Experience planning, testing, implementing, and supporting system upgrades across mobile and barcode platforms.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining barcode scanning capabilities and integrations with BMC Remedy/Helix systems.
- Providing hardware support for Zebra Technologies and Motorola Solutions handheld barcode scanners.
- Maintaining and supporting Seagull Scientific Bartender applications and label templates.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting issues related to mobile hardware and Mobile Reach applications.
- Supporting mobile applications and their interfaces with BMC Remedy asset, ITSM, and property management systems.
- Maintaining and supporting BMC Remedy/Helix systems with a focus on mobile integrations.
- Planning, testing, implementing, and supporting system upgrades across all mobile and barcode platforms.
Other
- Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
- Must have 3, or more, years of directly related developer experience
- Must be willing, and able, to work late-night maintenance windows to support patching and system updates.
- Must have, or obtain within 90 days of start, a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+)
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
